Dapkiene.
According to him, the popularity of ethnic cuisine reflects the limited opportunities to travel when Lithuanians enjoy the traditional tastes of other countries and thirst for exotic experiences at home.
Brigitta Baratynskaite, head of food production at Maximos, adds that Mexican food is worth trying, especially in winter. Because the cuisine of this country is full of vegetables that help enrich the body with necessary vitamins. Also, Mexican food is very tasty and the spiciness inherent in such food will warm you in the cold season.
“Mexican cuisine began to take shape in the seventh millennium BC. Therefore, such ancient and mature culinary traditions have created unique and unique flavors.
Mexican cuisine uses many types of meat – pork, beef, chicken. Also beans, corn. Tortillas are usually made from wheat flour in Mexico, but now wheat flour is also used for them. These flatbreads are like bread for Mexicans, they can be both a snack and the basis of a variety of dishes. It is especially popular to twist a tortilla into a roll and add vegetables, meat, seafood or sweet fruit filling to it,” says B. Baratinskaite.

“Guacamol, an avocado paste with a special taste, appeared in Mexico. There are also corn chips, burritos – wheat patties wrapped in a roll with the filling of your choice.
The enchilada also comes from Mexico – a tortilla filled with meat or cheese and topped with a hot pepper sauce. Along with the trails are small crispy corn patties. It is also filled with meat and vegetables, but it is usually served folded in half,” says B. Baratinskaite about the variety of Mexican dishes.

Green and delicious: traditional guacamole
You will need:
- 2 large avocados
- 1 tomato,

- 1 teaspoon lime juice

First, peel and mash the avocados. Then chop the onion, tomato and garlic cloves and add them to the mashed avocado. Add salt, pepper, lime juice and mix everything. Refrigerate the guacamole for about an hour before serving.
“This thick and flavorful Mexican dip is usually eaten with corn or other chips. Also, guacamole is used to flavor various Mexican dishes, such as tortillas,” says B. Baratinskaite.
Delicious to the last bite: Chicken and Cheese Pies
You will need:
- 10 trails,
- half a kilogram of chicken,
- 100 g grated favorite cheese,

- 2 tomatoes,
- 2 red peppers,
- 2 onions,
- 3 cloves of garlic,
- a couple of lettuce leaves,
- a little oil
- 2 tablespoons lime juice.
Cut the chicken into small pieces and sprinkle with taka spices. Then cut onion and garlic cloves, fry in a pan, add chicken. Cook until golden brown.

To eat: Sweet pancakes with fruit sauce
You will need:
- 4 tortillas,

- 200 g of canned peaches,
- 1/3 of a fresh pineapple
- 1 pear,
- 2 teaspoons of brown sugar,
