Special Aged Beef with Parsnips and Blue Cheese: Luck is in the Air | Food

We will need:

  • dry “Norfa” beef,
  • shallot,
  • spice mix
  • parsnips,
  • “Piemenelių Exellent” butter,
  • blue cheese,
  • salt,
  • angle.

Pour a little olive oil into a heated pan. We dry the dry beef removed from the package and put it directly in the pan. After a few minutes, we fry one side and the other. Sprinkle salt and pepper on the fried meat and add parsnips, peeled and cut lengthwise, to fry next to it.

About a minute before the end of frying the meat, we put a piece of butter in the pan and sprinkle everything with a mixture of spices – coriander, fenugreek, garlic, cumin, sesame.

Put the fried beef in the oven, heat it to 180 degrees and cook for about 10 minutes.

While the meat is cooking, reduce the heat in the pan and add the white onion cut into half rings. You can also add butter to the pan to make the onions soft and brown nicely.

We let the steak “rest” from the oven for a while, and put the blue cheese in a pan and melt it. According to the chef of the restaurant, Deividas Praspaliauskas, it will be both a side dish and a sauce for dry beef steak, which we will put on top of the meat, beautifully garnished with fragrant roasted parsnips.

Tasty!
